Steak Teriyaki Skewers

Steak Teriyaki Skewers


  • 1/2 pound of NY Strip steak cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 8 grape tomatoes
  • 3 green onions cut into 1.5 inch pieces
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki glaze
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 six inch bamboo skewers
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds


  1. Skewer onion tomato steak, onion tomato steak, onion, tomato steak, onion tomato steak. Repeat the same with the second skewer
  2. Sprinkle on salt and pepper
  3. Brush on the teriyaki glaze
  4. Heat oil until just smoking in a large sauté pan
  5. Sauté steak for 2 to 4 minute on each side to medium rare*
  6. Sprinkle on sesame seeds and serve

*An alternate method is to gas grill with a grill topper using a high heat grilling 2-3 minutes a side
