- 1.5 cups soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 heaping teaspoons of corn starch
- 1/2 cup cold water
- Combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, white wine and sugar in a medium sauce. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Dissolve the cornstarch in cold water and then add to the boiling soy mixture. Whisk to thicken and then let cool
