Ingredients
- 4 Buratta balls (cut into quarters)
- 8 slices of watermelon cut 1/2 inch thick
- 8 slices of Prosciutto cut into 1/2 inch strips
- 2 small avocados cut into slices
- 8 tablespoons of olive oil
- 8 tablespoons of balsamic glaze (available at most supermarkets)
- Kosher salt and pepper
- Fresh herbs for decoration (Basil, Italian parsley or Thyme)
Instructions
- Drizzle 8 plates with balsamic glaze
- Cut watermelon into shapes using a cookie cutter (I used circles and stars) and place two shapes on each plate
- Lay the quarter of a Buratta ball on each circle
- Place 4 strips of prosciutto to on each plate
- Add avocado slices
- Drizzle with olive oil
- Sprinkle with fresh herbs, salt and pepper
