California Crisp Fried Wontons

Ingredients
- 24 wonton skins
- 4 oz cream cheese cut into ½ inch chunks.
- 1 medium avocado cut into ½ inch chunks
- 5 bacon slices cut into ¼ inch slices.
- 3 green onions cut into ¼ inch slices.
- Water to seal wontons
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- Salk & pepper
- Thai Sweet Chili sauce
Instructions
- Brown bacon pieces in a 10-to-12-inch frying pan and then set aside.
- Lay out 24 wonton skins.
- Place cream cheese, avocado, bacon, and green onion on each wonton skin and then season with salt and pepper.
- Seal each wonton by brushing water along the edges, the folding into triangles and sealing by pressing the edges together with your fingers.
- Place 2 inches of oil in the frying pan and heat to 350 degrees
- Fry the wontons in batches for a few minutes on each side until golden brown and set aside to drain.
- Fried wontons can be served immediately or made an hour ahead of serving and then reheated in a 400-degree oven for 10 minutes.
- Serve with Sweet Chili Sauce.
