Ingredients
- French baguette
- 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter (can also use salted)*
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- ⅛ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
For the Herb Butter
- Combine the butter, garlic, parsley, salt and cheese in a small bowl and set aside
For the Baguette
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- (If bread is frozen, preheat for 2 minutes in the microwave on high)
- Reheat the baguette for 10 minutes in the 400 degree oven
- Remove baguette from oven and set the oven to broil on high
- Slice the baguette in half lengthwise, spread the herb butter on both halves
- Place the buttered baguette halves face up on a foil lined baking sheet
- Place the baguette in the broiler checking every 25 seconds until it reaches the desired crispiness. (Note: a little char is good)
