*An alternate method is to gas grill with a grill topper at a high heat grilling 3-5 minutes a side
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound sweet Italian sausage cut into inch chunks
- 1/4 cup teriyaki glaze
- 1/2 onion cut into 1 inch chunks
- 1/2 red bell pepper cut into 1 inch chunks
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 six inch bamboo skewers
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Skewer. Onion, pepper, sausage, onion, pepper, sausage, onion sausage, pepper, onion sausage to skewer one and then repeat with skewer two.
- Brush on teriyaki glaze coating liberally
- Heat oil until just smoking in a large sauté pan
- Sauté for 4-6 minutes on each side*
- Transfer to a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and bake In 400 degree oven for another 18 minutes or until cooked through
- Sprinkle with sesame seed and serve
